We are looking for experienced Farm Managers to oversee operations on high-level farms specializing in horses in Kentucky. This is a hands-on leadership position, requiring a deep understanding of equine care, farm management, and team coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient operation of the farm, maintain high standards in horse welfare, and manage staff effectively.

• Farm Operations Management: Oversee the daily operation of the farm, including horse care, breeding, training, and general maintenance.
• Horse Welfare and Care: Ensure that the horses receive the best care, including feeding, health monitoring, veterinary coordination, and exercise planning.
• Team Leadership: Train and manage farm staff, including caretakers, riders, and support staff, ensuring efficiency and high performance.
• Facilities Maintenance: Supervise and manage the farm's infrastructure, including stables, paddocks, fences, pastures, and equipment.
• Breeding and Foaling Management (if applicable): Oversee breeding programs and coordinate with veterinarians and specialists in the development of young horses.
• Compliance with Safety Standards: Ensure that all operations comply with safety regulations and best practices in the sector.
• Financial Management: Manage farm budgets, including feeding, veterinary expenses, staff salaries, and maintenance costs.
• Communication with Stakeholders: Serve as a liaison with farm owners, veterinarians, suppliers, trainers, and other key individuals to ensure the smooth running of the farm.

• Proven experience in the management of equine farms, breeding farms, or equestrian facilities at a senior level.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to train and motivate a team.
• Extensive knowledge of horse care, breeding, nutrition, and veterinary procedures.
• Experience in the maintenance of farm infrastructure and pasture management.
• Ability to manage budgets and control operating costs.
• Hands-on approach with a strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in English is required for daily communication.
• Desirable: Experience in breeding thoroughbred horses, managing sport horses, or high-performance equestrian farms.
