F&B Manager (Acting Assistant General Manager) | Luxury Safari Camp | Tanzania

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic F&B Manager to join a high‑end luxury safari camp in Tanzania. This exciting opportunity is part of a new property opening, with the successful candidate also stepping into the Assistant General Manager role during the General Manager’s leave periods.

Package & Benefits

Salary: USD 2,500 net per month (negotiable depending on experience)

Location: Tanzania

Live‑in accommodation provided

✈️ One annual flight home

⏰ Work cycle: 3 months on / 1 month off rotation (negotiable)

Property: Luxury safari camp with 18 suites

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all Food & Beverage operations to deliver world‑class standards

Oversee dining experiences, menus, and service delivery in a luxury safari environment

Ensure consistency in quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction

Step confidently into the Assistant General Manager role during GM leave periods

Provide leadership across lodge operations, supporting multiple departments

Drive staff training, development, and performance management

Uphold five‑star hospitality standards and guest relations excellence

Support the successful opening and positioning of the new property

✅ Minimum Requirements

Strong F&B management experience within luxury, high‑end hospitality environments

Previous senior lodge or hotel management experience essential

Ability to step into Assistant General Manager responsibilities when required

Strong leadership, operational, and guest‑relations skills

Experience in luxury safari or remote hospitality environments highly advantageous

Expatriate candidates preferred

Comfortable working in a new property opening environment
