Family First Case Manager Location: Knowsley Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £20 Umbrella P/H About the Role An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and compassionate Family First Case Manager to join a dedicated team delivering targeted and co-ordinated interventions to families with children aged 0-18 years who present with a range of complex and interrelated needs. This role focuses on empowering families to achieve better outcomes, including improved school attendance, increased parental engagement, and enhanced child well-being. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with families, schools, and other agencies to develop and implement tailored support plans that address the unique needs of each family. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting initial assessments and developing comprehensive case plans in collaboration with families and other stakeholders. • Providing intensive support and guidance to families, including home visits, phone calls, and attendance at meetings. • Building relationships with schools and other agencies to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication. • Monitoring and reviewing progress against case plans, making adjustments as necessary. • Maintaining accurate records of all interactions and interventions. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and empathetic individual with experience working with families and children in a social care or related setting. A strong understanding of child development, family dynamics, and the needs of vulnerable children is essential. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are also crucial for success in this role.
