Passenger Counter in Magdeburg (w/m/d) - Minijob

The ISUP GmbH is an engineering office based in Dresden and has been comprehensively active in the transportation sector for many years. In the field of empirical mobility research, we conduct traffic surveys on behalf of various transport companies or associations nationwide.

The disability survey includes counting all passengers as well as determining the disabled persons accompanying them with corresponding free travel permits, including the accompanying persons entitled to free travel.

Tasks

• Riding on MVB (Magdeburg Public Transport Company) lines
• Counting all passengers in a given area
• Interviewing passengers about their used fare ticket (time-based survey)
• Determining the disabled persons accompanying them, including accompanying persons entitled to free travel
• No control function

Qualification

You are:

• open-minded, communicative, punctual, reliable, and friendly
• already over 18 years old

and have:

• The possibility to take on assignments in off-peak hours
• Very good German language skills (B2 and higher)
• A well-groomed appearance and polite manners
• Fundamental knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
• Your own email address
• Your own car (not a condition)

Your place of residence is located in:

• Magdeburg or the immediate surrounding area

Benefits

In advance, you will receive a free induction from our colleagues in Magdeburg, where the tasks and organization of the survey will be explained, and the employment contract will be concluded.

Your assignments will take place flexibly according to your availability (free choice of assignment time and starting point), with possible assignment times Monday to Sunday during operating hours according to the schedule.

Breaks and any transfer journeys within an assignment will be fully reimbursed!

The survey will also take place in 2026 in 4 survey waves:

Winter period / February 23, 2026 – March 15, 2026

Spring period / April 13, 2026 – April 26, 2026 and May 4, 2026 - May 10, 2026

Summer period / July 13, 2026 – August 2, 2026

Autumn period / November 2, 2026 – November 22, 2026

• Earnings: €15.00 per hour of assignment
• Short-term or minor employment (Minijob)
• Also possible on a freelance basis for self-employed individuals
