Passenger Counter in Hoyerswerda (w/m/d) - Minijob

The ISUP GmbH is a Dresden-based engineering office that has been comprehensively active in the transportation sector for many years. In the field of empirical mobility research, we conduct traffic surveys nationwide for various transport companies or associations.

The disability survey includes counting all passengers and determining the accompanying disabled persons with corresponding free travel permits, including the accompanying persons entitled to free travel.

Tasks

• Riding on selected lines of VGH (Verkehrsgesellschaft Hoyerswerda mbH) in urban traffic, taking into account the corresponding weekday types (Monday - Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and daytime schedules (between 05:00 am and 01:00 am)
• Interviewing passengers about their used ticket (time card survey)
• Determining the accompanying disabled persons entitled to free travel, including accompanying persons
• No control function!

Qualification

You are:

• open-minded, communicative, punctual, reliable, and friendly
• already over 18 years old

and have:

• The possibility to take on assignments in off-peak hours
• Very good German language skills (B2 and higher)
• A well-groomed appearance and polite mannerisms
• Fundamental knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
• Your own email address
• Your own car (not a condition)

Your place of residence is located in:

• Hoyerswerda or the immediate surrounding area

In advance, you will receive a free introduction by our colleagues (if necessary online); in which the work tasks and organization of the survey are explained and the employment contract is concluded.

Your assignments will take place flexibly according to your availability (free choice of assignment time and starting point), with possible assignment times Monday to Sunday during operating hours according to the schedule.

Breaks and any transfer trips within an assignment will be fully reimbursed!

The survey takes place in 4 survey waves:

Winter period / February 23, 2026 - March 15, 2026

Spring period / April 13, 2026 - April 26, 2026 and May 4-10, 2026

Summer period / July 13, 2026 - August 2, 2026

Autumn period / November 2, 2026 - November 15, 2026 and November 23-29, 2026

• Earnings: € 15.00 per hour of assignment
• Limited/short-term employment (minijob)
• Possible on a freelance basis for self-employed individuals
