Finance & Accounting Specialist

For a strong international player with a local, family-like culture, we are looking for a Finance & Accounting Specialist to strengthen the finance team. In this role, you will be part of a tight-knit finance team and be responsible for bookkeeping from A to Z. You will work closely together with the Finance Manager and support both daily operations and monthly/year-end closures. Your task package - Processing and following up on financial mailboxes - Supporting purchase invoices and bank transactions - Taking care of various invoices and credit notes - Preparing outgoing payments - Preparing VAT, Intrastat, EC, and other submissions - Screening new and existing customers - Following up on outstanding positions with debtors - Taking care of reminders and customer contact - Managing creditors: - Creating supplier files - Checking and preparing (coding) incoming invoices - Following up on reminders - Performing reconciliations - Supporting internal and external audits - Working together on reports and monthly/quarterly/year-end closures You have a financial education and at least 2 years of relevant experience. You communicate fluently in Dutch, and you have good knowledge of French and English. You have experience with an ERP system & international VAT submissions. You work quickly with Excel and MS Office. You are meticulous, self-reliant, and stress-resistant. You respect deadlines and think proactively. You are a true team player.
