The Factory Scheduling Engineer will play a pivotal role in this journey by developing and implementing innovative scheduling solutions that optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining schedules for multiple production lines, taking into account various constraints such as equipment availability, material supply, and labor resources. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to achieve desired outcomes. • Analyzing data and identifying trends to optimize scheduling decisions and minimize delays or disruptions. • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, including production managers, quality engineers, and logistics personnel. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve scheduling processes and solutions. The ideal candidate will possess: • A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field. • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, production planning, or supply chain management. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with scheduling software such as SAP, Oracle, or Assemble. • Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or a related field is an added advantage.
