Factory IT-Support (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced developer to work at our factory in Pratau bei Lutherstadt Wittenberg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stable operation of our production-relevant systems, supporting our employees on site, and optimizing our IT structures.

In this versatile role, you will work closely with our IT/OT Specialist to shape the further development of our IT landscape. You will also contribute to the implementation of local and global IT and digitalization projects, ensuring the continuous optimization of our systems and processes.

You will ensure the stable operation of our production-relevant systems, support our employees on site, and optimize our IT structures. Additionally, you will serve as an interface to our global IT Shared Service Center and ensure a smooth information flow.

Further main responsibilities:

• Safekeeping and further development of the IT landscape
• Operation and further development of the IT infrastructure (clients, networks, servers, applications)
• Analysis and maintenance of interfaces, particularly in the SAP environment
• Support for end-users as well as ticket management in collaboration with the Service Desk
• Coordination of external service providers and ensuring system availability (updates, backups)
• Participation in IT and digitalization projects (planning, implementation, optimization)

What does it take to be successful in this role?

• A completed education or comparable studies in the IT field
• Professional experience as an IT administrator in a production environment
• Fundamental understanding of IT systems and their interrelationships
• Ideal SAP knowledge / secure handling of ERP systems
• First experience working with Shared Service Centers is advantageous
• Good German and English skills in writing and speaking
