Factory Hand / welder
Job description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Factory Hand with basic welding ability to join our workshop team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with metal, using hand tools, and being part of a busy fabrication environment. Experience is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with metal fabrication and prefabrication work
Perform basic welding tasks (MIG/TIG preferred)
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Assist with cutting, grinding, and assembly of metal components
Load, unload, and deliver materials and finished products
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
About You:
Basic welding knowledge or experience
Comfortable working with metal and hand tools
Prefabrication or factory experience preferred
Valid driver’s licence for deliveries
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
Able to work independently and as part of a team
