About the role
We are looking for an energetic, tech driven individual to embrace our changing environment as a Facilities Manager based in Havelock North, Hawke's Bay.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the overseeing the maintenance and improvements of the company's properties and facilities. You will work with our current software providers and new technologies to ensure our tenants needs are catered for, our processes are efficient and our properties are maintained in top condition.
Salary - $100k - $120k depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the company's facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment
- Coordinate and supervise the work of contractors, service providers, and internal maintenance staff
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and budgets
- Monitor and analyse facility performance data to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
- Act as the main point of contact for facility-related inquiries and issues
- Contribute to the long-term planning and technological development of the company's facilities
- Be innovative – have a keen focus on emerging technologies that will enhance traditional methods of doing things.
- An understanding and enthusiasm in new technology offerings
- An understanding of building systems, maintenance, and regulatory compliance requirements (preferable but not essential)
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in budget planning and cost control
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Hands-on, energetic, pragmatic, and solutions-focused
- Energetic and driven to think differently with a natural problem-solving inclination.
