Facilities Maintenance Leader (Water Treatment)

Job Summary: Effectively manage water-related activities within the plant and the maintenance personnel for a specific area, overseeing its development, business needs, and serving the operation as the primary client. Main Responsabilities: Safety: Monitor safety guidelines, identify risks, and conduct near miss assessments. Ensure that your equipment has the appropriate certifications before performing any work. Authorize and validate work permits. Conduct Safe Behavior Walkthroughs and close out findings. Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulations. Develop and implement maintenance plans for water treatment systems. Identify and address potential hazards in the workplace. Implement a system of checks and balances to ensure that all work is done safely. Monitor and report on safety performance metrics. Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel on safety procedures. Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, inspected, and tested. Perform routine inspections of water treatment systems to identify any potential issues. Develop and implement corrective actions for identified issues.
