Specialist in Energy and Air Pollution Control 70 - 80%

The Department of Environment and Energy coordinates the implementation of the city's Energy Concept 2050 and enforces the Energy Law as well as the Environmental Protection Law in the areas of noise, air, and radiation. You will be responsible for the enforcement of the Energy Law. This includes assessments of energy certificates, advising building owners on energy issues, and participation in national and cantonal committees. Furthermore, you will take over the enforcement of the Air Pollution Control Ordinance and assess building applications.

• You are interested in and committed to energy topics, environmental protection, and climate protection.
  
• You have a completed degree in building physics, engineering, or architecture.
  
• You bring knowledge or experience in the areas of energy, air pollution control, heating/ventilation/air conditioning, sustainability, and circular economy.
  
• You enjoy project work and interacting with various specialist departments as well as the general public.
