Specialist in Building Permit Applications (a) 60% | Kriens Apply Now No building permit application is the same - a diverse, future-oriented task awaits you. You will secure long-term space along our cantonal roads, weigh interests, and enable private individuals to carry out their construction projects. Your Tasks You will conduct internal and external consultations on development concepts, land-use and zoning plans, building lines, development plans, and design plans, as well as cantonal road projects, ensuring that applicable legal requirements and regulations are met. As part of the building permit process, you will coordinate with other departments and ensure a smooth flow of information between internal and external parties. You will secure the necessary leeway for future cantonal road projects through forward-looking space reservation. You will also assess setbacks of buildings from cantonal roads and grant them, if necessary, to a proportionate extent. You will assess visibility zones at entrances and exits and the technical feasibility of landscaping along the cantonal road. You will approach planning offices in a solution-oriented manner and bring an understanding of different needs. Your Profile A completed apprenticeship as a technical draftsperson in civil engineering (civil engineering/road construction), ideally supplemented by further education in civil engineering, forms your professional foundation. Sound knowledge of VSS standards and legal regulations in road construction, as well as a strong understanding of construction technology, characterize you. You bring several years of professional experience in civil engineering; experience in building administration is an advantage. As a solution-oriented and communicative personality, you will find pragmatic solutions and convince stakeholders in dealing with diverse groups.
