Sanitary Planner / MEP Project Engineer (m/f/d) KG 410
Job description
Sanitary planning at BBP – with room for good engineering work
Would you like to have time for good MEP planning again, instead of being torn between deadline pressure, coordination, and everything at once? Then BBP might be the right environment for you.
In our 22-person MEP team, specialist planners, project managers, construction supervision, and BIM/CAD coordination are closely interconnected. For the Sanitary / KG 410 area, you will plan wastewater, water, and gas systems as well as dry fire suppression systems for us – for demanding new construction and renovation projects.
You will work in a fixed project team together with project management and the specialist planners for heating, ventilation, and electrical trades. Project coordination is handled by the project manager, so you can concentrate on your technical tasks. Through forward-looking personnel and capacity planning, our projects remain predictable and create the space for good engineering work.
You won't experience a routine with the same standard projects every day: at BBP, you will work on a wide variety of existing and new construction projects – from multi-story residential buildings, schools, and upper secondary schools to police stations, office, and administrative buildings.
We have been supporting demanding projects for over 35 years. Around 75 colleagues from six specialist disciplines work together on technical solutions. What sets us apart is collaboration at eye level: experienced engineers share their knowledge and support each other.
Your professional development will not be neglected either. We invest specifically in high-quality further training and enable, among other things, qualification as a certified specialist planner with EIPOS.
Start: from 01.10.2026 or as soon as you are ready.
Tasks
You will take on the specialist planning for water, wastewater, gas, and dry fire suppression systems and accompany your trade through the relevant service phases.
This includes, among other things:
- Planning of cost group 410 in HOAI service phases 1–7,
- Development of technically and economically sensible solutions,
- Creation of calculations, planning documents, specifications, and cost estimates,
- Coordination with authorities, utility companies, and the involved specialist planners,
- Collision planning and shaft allocation with heating, ventilation, and electrical trades,
- Support of your trade up to the award of the contract,
- Technical support in the implementation of the planning.
You work independently, but you are never on your own.
Qualifications
You have experience in the planning of water, wastewater, and gas systems and would like to work on projects independently after an introductory period.
Ideally, you bring with you:
- completed studies in the field of building services engineering, MEP,
energy/building/environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable
discipline, - alternatively, a technical apprenticeship or further training as a state-certified technician with corresponding professional experience,
- experience with HOAI service phases 1–7,
- knowledge of VDI 6026 as well as relevant technical regulations and standards,
- proficient use of common planning tools, ideally AutoCAD and liNear,
- experience with AVA software,
- knowledge of Revit is an advantage, but not a requirement,
- enjoyment of independent planning and professional exchange.
Not every CV has to be 100% perfect. If your focus is clearly on sanitary planning and you want to make a difference professionally, please feel free to contact us.
Benefits
With us, you should work on good projects and not work under constant
time pressure. That's why we rely on realistic project planning,
short decision-making processes, and a team that supports each other.
Overtime is not the norm here.
In addition, you benefit from:
- 35 to 40 hours per week. Together we will find the working time model that suits you and your life.
- flexible working hours with a core time from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m..
- Targeted investments per year in your professional development, including qualification as a certified specialist planner with EIPOS.
- 30 days of vacation and a 13th salary in case of a good business year.
- up to two days of home office after the introductory period.
- 20% contribution to company pension plan.
- sports facilities, massages, and health prevention.
- air-conditioned offices, canteen, bicycle storage, and showers.
If you want to contribute your experience in sanitary planning and at the same time have more time for good engineering work, we look forward to hearing from you.
Simply send us your CV or call Ms. Christina Konoplev at (030) 936923-11.
We will contact you personally within three working days.
