Specialist Planner / Expert for Preventive Fire Protection (m/f/d)

The IX Group unites engineering offices for structural design and fire protection throughout Germany.

For HTGS, a medium-sized architectural and engineering firm successfully operating in the market for decades in Berlin-Kaulsdorf, we are looking for a Specialist Planner / Expert (m/f/d) for Preventive Fire Protection to strengthen our team.

Our projects are diverse and differ in both size and intended use. We plan apartment buildings for professional developers as well as kindergartens, nursing homes, office buildings, or above-ground construction and industrial construction projects for public developers. In addition to innovative solutions for new buildings, we also offer carefully considered plans for the renovation, extension, or attic conversion of existing buildings.

Tasks

• Creation of preventive fire protection concepts and verifiable fire protection certificates for new and existing buildings

• Technical consultation of developers, architects, and specialist planners on all fire protection matters

• Structural fire protection construction supervision from planning to implementation

• Coordination with authorities and participation in approvals and inspections

• Preparation of expert reports in case of fire damage

• Review and evaluation of execution plans with regard to fire protection requirements

• Co-design and further development of internal fire protection standards and processes

Qualifications

• Completed studies in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Fire Protection Engineering

• Qualified degree as a Specialist Planner or Expert for Preventive Fire Protection

• Experience in planning and collaboration with architects, inspectors, and specialist planners

• At least 3 years of professional experience in fire protection

• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken

• Comprehensive IT skills
