Job description

For our medium-sized architectural and engineering firm, successfully active in the market for decades, located in Berlin-Kaulsdorf, we are looking to strengthen our team of architects and structural engineers with an interested architect or civil engineer.

Our projects are diverse and differ both in size and in terms of their later use. We plan multi-family houses for professional clients as well as kindergartens, nursing homes, office buildings, or above-ground structures and industrial construction projects for public clients. In addition to innovative solutions for new buildings, we also offer carefully considered plans for the renovation, extension, or attic conversions of old buildings.

Tasks

  • Creation of preventive fire protection concepts and verifiable fire protection certificates for new and existing buildings
  • Professional advice to clients, architects, and specialist planners on all fire protection issues
  • Constructive fire protection technical site supervision from planning to implementation
  • Coordination with authorities as well as participation in approvals and inspections
  • Preparation of expert reports in case of fire damage
  • Review and evaluation of execution plans with regard to fire protection requirements
  • Co-design and further development of internal fire protection standards and processes

Qualifications

  • Completed studies in civil engineering, architecture, or fire protection engineering
  • Qualified qualification as a specialist planner or expert for preventive fire protection
  • Experience in planning and collaborating with architects, inspectors, and specialist planners
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of fire protection
  • Fluent German language skills, both spoken and written
  • Comprehensive IT skills
