Specialist Planner Photovoltaics (m/f/d) DC/AC Planning, Storage and Charging Infrastructure

Do you have experience in planning photovoltaic systems and want to manage projects independently from the initial technical design to the installation-ready assembly planning? At ErEne, you will create the plans before awarding the contract and, after commissioning, prepare the complete DC and AC assembly folders for our assembly teams.

We are ErEne Green Technologies GmbH. Since 2010, we have specialized in the installation and sale of photovoltaic and energy storage systems. From our location in Mettmann, we serve private, commercial, and municipal clients. For our team, we are looking for an experienced specialist planner who will independently plan our PV projects and work closely with sales, project management, and assembly.

Your Responsibilities

Technical Planning Before Contract Award

• You will check the technical feasibility of our projects and plan photovoltaic systems, storage systems, and charging infrastructure.

• You will create system concepts, initial module layout plans, and yield and profitability calculations.

• You will select suitable components, assess technical risks, and clarify open questions with sales, project management, and suppliers.

• You will create quotations and preliminary offers in our ERP system and support the technical processing of tenders.

Execution Planning and Assembly Preparation

• You will convert the coordinated offer planning into complete, comprehensible execution planning.

• You will create the DC assembly folders, particularly with module layout and string plans, cable routing, and the required component and assembly details.

• You will create the AC assembly folders, including connection and circuit diagrams, cable sizing, and measurement and protection concepts.

• You will consider the integration of inverters, storage systems, and charging infrastructure and coordinate technical requirements with grid operators and suppliers.

• You will ensure that the planning documents are complete, consistent, and understandable for our assembly teams.

Technical Support for Implementation

• You will hand over your planning to project management and assembly and clarify any questions regarding execution.

• You will incorporate necessary changes and keep the planning documents up-to-date.

• You will consider the legal requirements, standards, and technical connection conditions applicable to each project.

What You Bring

• An electrical engineering qualification, for example, as an Electrician, Master Electrician, or Electrical Engineer, or a comparable qualification.

• At least three years of experience in the planning, project management, and/or execution of photovoltaic projects, as well as practical experience in independent technical planning.

• Solid knowledge in DC and AC planning: You can create a technically sound design and execution-ready documents from the project requirements.

• Experience with module layout and string planning, cable sizing, and measurement and protection concepts.

• Knowledge of relevant standards and connection rules for PV systems, especially the requirements for low and, if applicable, medium voltage connections relevant to our projects.

• Proficient use of PV*SOL, CAD software, and MS Office.

• A structured, meticulous, and efficient way of working and the ability to document technical decisions comprehensibly.

• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.

• A driver's license class B.

You will independently handle the specialist planning. We will provide targeted training on our internal processes, the ERP system, and the structure of our planning and assembly documents.
