Fachplaner (m/w/d) Broadband Technology in Hockenheim (1691)

Your career in planning modern communication infrastructure.

You will work with BRÜGGEN ENGINEERING on the planning and documentation of high-performance fiber-optic and broadband networks. You will support infrastructure projects in the field of supply technology and contribute to the further development of modern communication networks.

Tasks

• Network Planning: Planning of fiber-optic and broadband networks, both backbone and regional distribution (NE3/NE4) and in new developments
• Cable Networks: Development of coaxial and feeder concepts
• Detailed Planning: Creation of splice, cable pull, and muff plans
• Documentation: Planning and maintenance of network information in Smallworld-based NIS systems
• Preliminary Work: Preparation of material and performance lists as well as construction files for installation teams
• Interfaces: Coordination of technical content with internal and external project participants
• Quality: Ensuring a structured and precise planning documentation

Qualification

• Qualification: Technical training or further education as a technician, alternatively study in telecommunications or electrical engineering or comparable qualification with practical experience
• Special Knowledge: Knowledge of broadband networks, FTTH, FTTx, or HFC architectures
• Systems: Experience with Smallworld-based NIS systems or willingness to quickly get up to speed
• Planning: Experience in creating technical detail plans and performance lists
• GIS: Knowledge of GIS systems is advantageous
• Working Method: Structured, precise, and self-reliant approach
• Communication: Technical understanding and secure coordination of complex topics
