Your Responsibilities

• Ensuring correct, complete, and timely billing, especially for complex billing cases and special topics
• Processing cancellations, re-billings, and rejections
• Providing competent information on fees and tariff regulations to patients, relatives, service providers, guarantors, and authorities
• Taking on special tasks within the team, for example, for specific medical fields, tariff areas, control processes, or system-related topics
• Participating in quality assurance and adherence to tariff specifications
• Supporting the team lead in technical clarifications, controls, evaluations, and the further development of billing processes
• Assisting with testing, system adjustments, and IT and digitalization projects

Your Qualifications

• Completed commercial training or further education, ideally with experience in the healthcare sector or as a medical practice assistant
• Experience in performance billing, ideally in a hospital environment
• Knowledge of hospital tariffs is an advantage, or the willingness to immerse oneself deeply in the subject
• Experience in dealing with tariff-related questions
• Independent, structured, and meticulous way of working
• Analytical thinking skills and a high level of service orientation
• Team spirit, flexibility, and resilience
• High IT affinity and confident use of various applications, preferably BC, IBI-care, KISIM, and standard Microsoft Office applications
