Specialist in Health Care EFZ (Adult Education Art. 32) for Geriatric Rehabilitation and Transition Care
You work in nursing and would like to complete your training as a nursing professional or specialist in health care EFZ as an adult? Then apply to us for the next training start.
In this two-year training program, you will work on the geriatric rehabilitation and transition care ward of the Schaffhausen Cantonal Hospital to learn the tasks of a specialist in health care. You will be accompanied and supported daily by your primary mentors. Furthermore, during regular learning days with educational and subject matter experts, you can specifically address individual activities. After successfully completing your apprenticeship, you will be excellently trained and able to perform the tasks of a specialist in health care independently. All fees and expenses will be covered by us as a training company. Prerequisites for starting the training:
- An employment of 6 to 12 months at the Schaffhausen Cantonal Hospital, depending on professional experience
- This employment serves as a basis for an aptitude assessment by us to decide whether we recommend or admit you for adult education according to Art. 32 BBV
What awaits you
- Professional care and support for sick and elderly people
- Interesting nursing and medical-technical tasks
- Household and administrative activities
- Responsibility for the cleaning, disinfection, and functionality of instruments and devices, as well as for material procurement
What you bring to us
- At least 3 years of full-time work experience
- Older than 25 years
- Workload of at least 80% and a maximum of 100%, supplemented by one school day per week (20%)
- Good German language skills (at least language level B2)
