About the Position
We are filling the position of Occupational Safety Specialist at our operational sites in Lower Saxony, with the duty station in Hannover-Laatzen. Safety is not an option on our construction sites and in our operational facilities, but a cornerstone of our success. In direct collaboration with the management, the executives, and the employers' liability insurance association (BG), you will take responsibility for ensuring that all employees can return home healthy at the end of the day!

The Responsibilities
- Monitoring occupational safety through site inspections, safety briefings, and internal audits, as well as the implementation of all necessary measures
- Accompanying corporate decisions, e.g., on technical equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), machinery, or work organization
- Strategic occupational safety management (ASM), creation of operating/handling instructions (accident prevention and health protection), and analysis of accidents
- Managing safety officers and the Safety Committee (ASA) as well as supporting site managers in the further development of risk assessments
- Advising executives, training all employees, and collaborating with internal and external partners (management, works council, administrative departments, employers' liability insurance association, company doctor, etc.)
The Key Competencies
- Qualification as a Specialist for Occupational Safety (Sifa) according to DGUV, preferably through the BG BAU
- Ideally, several years of industry experience in civil engineering or pipeline construction
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, standards, and regulations (ArbSchG, BetrSichV, DGUV, BaustellV)
- Strong communication skills, organizational talent, and assertiveness
- Driver's license class B and willingness to travel regionally We look forward to receiving your application!
