The ÖKOBIT Group is a leading provider of innovative solutions in energy and process technology, focusing on biogas production and utilization. We plan and build biogas and biomethane plants across Europe, develop electrical solutions for municipal water management, and operate backup power systems in critical infrastructure.

To further expand our team, we are looking for a motivated individual as:

Safety Specialist (m/w/d)

at the Föhren location

Tasks

• Responsibility for organizing, implementing, and monitoring workplace safety on our construction sites in Germany and Europe
• Ensuring compliance with national and European safety and health regulations
• Conducting training sessions, briefings, and workshops
• Creating and maintaining risk assessments, operating instructions, and safety plans
• Carrying out regular safety inspections and audits
• Communicating with authorities, customers, and project managers on all workplace safety topics

Qualification

• Completed training as a Safety Specialist or equivalent qualification
• Professional experience in the international construction industry, preferably in plant or industrial construction
• In-depth knowledge of relevant EU directives and national occupational health and safety regulations
• Will to undertake project-related assignments abroad within Europe
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work style
• Proficient use of MS Office
• Excellent German and English language skills, with additional languages being an asset
