As an Occupational Safety Specialist (m/w/d), you are the central point of contact for all topics related to occupational safety and health. You develop risk assessments, train colleagues, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. By doing so, you build a sustainable occupational health organization, protect the health of our employees, and contribute directly to the further development of our company.

About the Role

• Consultation of all departments on occupational safety and health issues
• Preparation, updating, and maintenance of risk assessments
• Reporting and follow-up of accidents at work, as well as communication with the statutory accident insurance fund
• Building and further development of an occupational health organization including management processes
• Organization of fitness assessments for our locomotive personnel
• Conducting training sessions, briefings, and sensitization measures in the field of occupational health
• Monitoring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g. ArbSchG, DGUV)

About You

• Diploma in Occupational Safety Specialist
• Relevant work experience in the field of occupational safety, health, or HSE management at a railway company or in the rail industry
• Fundamental knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g. ArbSchG, DGUV)
• Experience in preparing risk assessments and management systems
• Analytical and structured working style with high problem-solving competence
• Fluent German language skills, good English language skills a plus
