Aufgaben

• Verantworte die Core-Infrastruktur. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our physical server, storage, and network components directly in the data center.
• Gestalte moderne Cloud- & Containerwelten. You will administer our OpenStack and Kubernetes environments, monitor pods and services, and ensure smooth operation.
• Treibe AI & High-Performance voran. You will set up high-speed networks and configure GPU servers to create the ideal basis for AI/ML workloads.
• Meistere das Netzwerkmanagement. From switches and firewalls to load balancers - you will implement security guidelines and optimize performance in the data center environment.
• Automatisiere den Betrieb. You will reduce manual efforts through clever scripting in Python or Bash and use configuration management for scalable systems.
• Sichere die Verfügbarkeit. You will implement backup and disaster recovery solutions and document system changes for a stable 24/7 operation.
• Sei technischer Sparringspartner. You will work closely with data scientists, DevOps teams, and architects to provide compute resources and develop the infrastructure further.
• Unterstütze im Expert-Support. You will support internal teams with complex infrastructure inquiries (1st/2nd level) and participate in our on-call readiness services after a thorough onboarding process.

Qualifikation

Dein fachliches Fundament

• Qualifikation. You have completed a degree in computer science or a comparable IT qualification.
• Linux-Expertise. You are familiar with Linux environments (e.g. Ubuntu, Rocky Linux) and have a solid understanding of virtualization technologies like KVM or QEMU.
• Netzwerk-Verständnis. TCP/IP, routing, and switching are familiar terrain for you; ideally, you have already gained experience with VLANs and network segmentation.
• Cloud-Affinität. First experiences with cloud infrastructure (OpenStack) or container concepts (Kubernetes, Docker) are a big plus for your entry at our company.
• Automatisierung & Monitoring. You have experience with shell scripting (Bash) and have ideally already gained experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix or Prometheus.
