Your Tasks

As a Technical Support Engineer, you are the central point of contact for trade partners and support the infrastructure software based on Windows. 

  • Support & Troubleshooting: First and second-level support for backup, mail server, email archiving, and security solutions, as well as remote monitoring & management  

  • Analysis & Problem Solving: Investigation of technical problems with subsequent solution finding via email, remote maintenance, and telephone  

  • Customer Advice: Competent support for customers on all technical questions regarding the products  

  • Installation & Webinars: Conducting software installations and training for internal and external users  

  • Documentation & Knowledge Base: Creation of new and translation of existing articles for software administration  

  • Product Feedback: Forwarding improvement suggestions to the development departments  

  • IT Administration: Support of the internal network environment and IT infrastructure 



  • Fluent German and English skills  

  • Completed vocational training in the IT field, computer science degree, or comparable several years of experience in technical support / IT administration 

  • In-depth knowledge of Windows environments, software solutions, and networks 

  • Resilience to stress, solution-oriented thinking, and enthusiasm for technical challenges 

  • Strong communication skills, customer-oriented demeanor, and the ability to explain complex issues clearly 

  • Experience or knowledge in Active Directory, Backup & Restore, Microsoft 365 / Exchange (Online or On-Prem), Email Archiving, IT Security, Automation & MSP Tools, PowerShell, SQL Databases, or Virtualization are advantageous
