Fachinformatiker (all genders) for IT On-Site Support

Aufgaben

• After a thorough familiarization, you will ensure as an Onsite Technician (all genders) the 2nd Level User Support in German and English at the on-site service in Vettelschoß (district of Neuwied in Rhineland-Palatinate) and take care of the operation of office IT systems.

• You will record and document notifications in the Trouble Ticket System and prioritize, classify, and escalate fault reports.

• You will install and configure hardware and software (desktops, notebooks, printers) and support during IT migrations (setting up and configuring IT workspaces). Additionally, you will perform function and connection tests.

• We place great value on team collaboration. Regular knowledge transfer and maintenance of the knowledge database are just as important a part of your task as close cooperation with subsequent support units.

Qualifikation

• You have fundamental experience in user support, which you acquired after completing your IT vocational training to Fachinformatiker (all genders) Systemintegration or IT-Systemelektroniker (all genders).

• You are familiar with a professional ticket system and have extensive experience with the Windows 11 operating system and common MS Office products / Microsoft Office 365.

• Basic knowledge in the network area as well as secure German language skills (at least C1) and English language skills are required. An ITIL certification would be desirable, but is not a prerequisite. We will train you gladly.

• You communicate purposefully, are reliable, and work well in a team. What's particularly important to us is that you always act customer- and service-oriented and help users with IT problems.

• You are willing to perform occasional tasks outside of regular working hours and bring your driver's license for class B or 3.
