Expert in Hygiene Specialist (Full-time)

The core task of the Nursing and Therapy department is to ensure the best possible care for our residents. Whether it's new technologies or proven methods – together we ensure that all necessary framework conditions, resources, and specifications for the nursing and therapeutic care of our residents are in place.

To strengthen our Nursing Department, we are looking for an experienced

Expert in Hygiene Specialist (Full-time)


  • Creation and evaluation of disinfection and cleaning plans as well as hygiene guidelines and concepts, and furthermore ensuring that they are adhered to
  • Recording of infections and their courses, as well as control of all processes related to drinking water hygiene
  • Procurement and expert assessment of hygiene-relevant devices, systems, and goods, and consultation during the planning of new constructions, extensions, and renovations, as well as in relation to room furnishings regarding hygiene
  • Internal further training and creation of materials for hygiene training and/or e-learning tools
  • Regular coordination with the externally commissioned specialist doctor for hygiene and microbiology
  • Collaboration with and interface to external institutions and authorities

  • University of Applied Sciences degree in Health and Nursing or diploma in General Health and Nursing, as well as a completed special training in hospital hygiene according to GuKG, or the willingness to complete this within two years
  • Several years of experience in the professional field and in presentation activities
  • Organizational and coordination skills, as well as solution-oriented action
  • Enjoyment of team- and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Excellent communication and team skills
  • Appreciative attitude in dealing with residents, relatives, and employees

The monthly salary above the collective agreement for full-time employment is at least € 3,500.00 gross, depending on professional experience. Depending on your education, qualifications, and professional experience, further overpayment is possible. The SWÖ-KV applies.
