Job description
GVTG is an independent public-law service provider based in Frauenfeld. It operates on non-profit but economic principles and insures buildings in the canton of Thurgau against fire and natural hazard damage, promotes fire departments, and is involved in damage prevention in the interest of personal and property protection. The legal mandate of GVTG is primarily based on the Building Insurance Law and the Fire Protection Law.
To strengthen the prevention team, we are looking for a convincing personality as
Expert in Municipal Fire Protection (m/f/d) 80 - 100%
What awaits you with us
You will advise property owners and developers, planners, and craftspeople on matters of structural, technical, and operational fire protection.
You will issue fire police requirements and permits for construction projects and events.
You will monitor the implementation of the required fire protection measures through acceptance protocols and defect reports.
You will conduct periodic building inspections of buildings as needed.
You will participate in commission meetings and discussions.
You will contribute your expertise to internal and external project groups.
You will actively contribute to the team, identify potential for improvement, and support us in continuously developing processes. We value a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

Your profile
You are a certified fire protection expert with a federal diploma or a fire protection specialist with a federal certificate of proficiency or an equivalent qualification.
You have experience in fire protection and are willing to continuously expand your knowledge.
You think conceptually and have sound judgment.
You communicate transparently, target-group-oriented, and enjoy interacting with customers.
You are proficient in using modern work tools.
