The Department of Internal Medicine, as part of the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen Klinikum Kirchdorf Steyr, places great value on a harmonious and supportive working atmosphere. Our department is characterized by a variety of specializations. In addition to general internal medicine inpatient care with 61 beds and an intensive care unit, we also operate specialized outpatient clinics for gastroenterology, diabetology, and cardiology. The services offered include, among others, echocardiography including transesophageal echocardiography, long-term ECGs, long-term blood pressure monitoring, pacemaker implantation including follow-up, endoscopy (gastro-, colonoscopy, ERCP), etc.
