The Role

As a Specialist in Endocrinology and Diabetology at Ovivamed, you will play a central role in the care of patients with obesity and type 2 diabetes. You will contribute to the development of evidence-based, digitally supported treatment pathways and work closely with an interdisciplinary team of doctors, dietitians, psychologists, and exercise therapists.

Your Responsibilities

• Conducting endocrinology consultations with a focus on obesity and metabolic diseases

• Long-term care of patients with type 2 diabetes, including medication management

• Collaborative co-management within the medical network and cooperation with external specialists

• Active participation in interdisciplinary case discussions and continuing education

• Evaluation of bariatric procedures in close coordination with the team

• Utilization and co-design of digital tools and quality standards in clinical practice

Your Profile

• Specialist recognition in Endocrinology and Diabetology (FMH)

• Experience with obesity therapy and metabolic diseases

• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based care

• Interest in working with digital tools & platforms

• Very good German language skills (at least C1), additional languages are an advantage

• Ideally, a license to practice medicine in Zurich, Bern, or Basel
