Do you want to perfect your knowledge and skills in clinical neurophysiology/epileptology in the context of pre-surgical epilepsy diagnostics in children or obtain the specialist qualification in neuropediatrics?

Schön Klinik Vogtareuth is an internationally recognized specialist clinic. The clinic has great expertise, particularly in the field of special medicine for children – with a focus on the treatment and rehabilitation of children with neurological and orthopedic diseases as well as malformations of the extremities. The Center for Neurosurgery, Spinal Surgery, and Epilepsy Surgery also enjoys an excellent reputation. Furthermore, the clinic specializes in all diseases of the musculoskeletal system. The clinic is also a teaching hospital for LMU Munich and PMU Salzburg.

We are looking for a full-time/part-time Specialist Pediatrician (m/f/d) in/for further training in Neuropediatrics in Vogtareuth starting as soon as possible.

Your Tasks – Here's What You Can Look Forward To

Neuropediatric Further Training: You will undergo structured further training according to an internal curriculum, taking individual areas of interest into account.
Rotation Through Specialist Center: You will gain experience in all areas of the specialist center, including epilepsy surgery monitoring, conservative epileptology, Intermediate Care/home ventilation, and early and advanced rehabilitation.
Diagnostics and Therapy: You will learn to interpret EEG and cMRI findings, as well as motor expertise, including assistive device provision and botulinum toxin treatment.
Epileptological Specialization: You will deepen your knowledge in video-EEG long-term monitoring, both non-invasive and invasive, and in intraoperative monitoring, with the possibility of obtaining the EEG certificate.
Work in a Certified Epilepsy Center: You will be part of a highly specialized team for pre-surgical epilepsy diagnostics and epilepsy surgery with modern diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Individual Supervision: You will receive regular 1:1 teaching from epileptology senior physicians for targeted professional development.
