Specialist in Internal Medicine (m/f/d), No Night or Weekend Shifts in Munich

The Schön Klinik München Schwabing, part of the Schön Klinik Group, is the largest neurological specialist clinic in Munich with 180 beds and a certified Parkinson's clinic. Our team of 450 employees cares for around 3,000 patients annually - on an outpatient, inpatient, and day-patient basis in the day clinics for dementia and Parkinson's. To support our team, we are looking for a Specialist in Internal Medicine (m/f/d) part-time, with 28 hours per week, as soon as possible.
Tasks

• Internal Medicine Co-treatment and Care: You will be responsible for professional internal medicine co-treatment and independent internal medicine care of our inpatient and day-patient patients in acute neurology, early rehabilitation, and further rehabilitation within a cross-ward consultation system, as well as prospectively in our neurological intensive care unit.
• Internal Medicine Diagnostics: You will independently perform internal medicine diagnostics in our in-house department for functional diagnostics, particularly sonography and electrophysiological examinations.
• Emergency Management: You will be a member of the in-house emergency team and support acute medical care.
• Hygiene and Antibiotic Stewardship: You will support the hygiene officer and the hygiene team, especially in the area of antibiotic stewardship.
• Participation in Commissions: You will contribute your internal medicine expertise to clinic-internal commissions, for example, in the areas of drug safety and transfusion medicine.
• Treatment Standards and SOPs: You will develop new treatment standards and SOPs on relevant internal medicine topics and regularly update existing standards.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: You will work collaboratively and trustingly with the various functional units and specialized departments.
• Training and Further Education: You will participate in the internal medicine training of neurologists undergoing further training.

Profile

• You are a specialist in Internal Medicine; subspecialty designations such as Cardiology, Gastroenterology, or Pulmonology are advantageous but not a prerequisite.
• You are interested in treating neurologically and internally complex patients.
• You are characterized by willingness to perform, strong team and patient orientation, and social competence.
• You have experience in echocardiography and general internal medicine sonography.
• Intensive care knowledge is helpful but not a prerequisite.
• You are interested in the establishment and expansion of interdisciplinary diagnostic competencies, for example, in the areas of gastro- and bronchoscopy, TEE, pleural punctures, polysomnography, or suprapubic catheter placement.
• You enjoy intensive interdisciplinary collaboration.
