The MEDIAN Day Clinic Grünstadt was opened in July 20214 and offers outpatient treatment close to home for adults aged 18 and over with 20 therapy places in Grünstadt. Depending on the type and severity of the illness, day clinic treatment can take place either following inpatient therapy or independently of it.

The MEDIAN Day Clinic Grünstadt belongs to the MEDIAN Sonnenwende Clinic as part of the network, which is a specialized hospital for psychiatry and psychotherapy with compulsory care for the district of Bad Dürkheim and the city of Neustadt an der Weinstraße. It has an acute care unit with 111 inpatient beds (including a gerontopsychiatric department with 24 beds), two day clinics with a total of 44 places, and a psychiatric institutional outpatient clinic. The Sonnenwende Clinic is located in the spa town of Bad Dürkheim, picturesquely situated between the Palatinate Forest Nature Park and the vineyards of the German Wine Route. The clinic is located on a hill overlooking Bad Dürkheim and the Rhine plain, extending to the Odenwald and the Palatinate Forest.
