- You will medically manage a long-term care unit for geriatric psychiatry at Pflege Simmering
- You will provide specialist medical services as part of a psychiatric consultation service
- You will participate in projects
- You will organize specialist training for our employees
- You will work independently and with personal responsibility, while respecting the dignity and self-determination of the residents/patients
- You will work in a multiprofessional team
- You will maintain close communication with all professional groups within the medical field and the entire social environment of the residents/patients
- You possess a completed training as a Specialist in Psychiatry
- You have prior experience in the care of geriatric, severely ill, and dementia patients
- You remain calm and composed even in critical situations and under time pressure
- You have stress and frustration tolerance
- You have empathy, patience, and willingness to engage with the thoughts and experiences of older people
- You have knowledge of palliative medicine
As part of admission to this professional group, proof of immunity (vaccination status) for various vaccinations is required. The Wiener Gesundheitsverbund does not provide reimbursement for any costs incurred for providing proof of immunity.

For employees already employed by the City of Vienna, remuneration for the advertised position will be determined by the job and functional evaluation and the corresponding classification in the respective salary system.
For new employees, the starting salary according to the Vienna Civil Service Act for this position is €7528 (40 hours per week, 14 times annually) plus a €150 hardship allowance 14 times annually. An increased salary will result from the recognition of professionally relevant or equivalent activities as prior service.
