Porter/Maintenance worker

OSMOSI S.p.A., branch of Mestre, is looking for a RECEPTIONIST FOR HOTEL (no accommodation, residents in the area) for an important hotel. We are looking for a RECEPTIONIST with experience for a hotel located in Venice. The resource will work shifts to be defined, from Monday to Sunday, with compensatory rest. The resource will be in charge of: - Welcoming guests during check-in and check-out - Managing reservations (by phone, email and online portals) - Assigning rooms and entering data into the hotel management system - Providing information on hotel services, schedules, regulations and local attractions - Managing guests' requests and reports during their stay - Coordination with internal departments (housekeeping, maintenance, management) - Managing payments, issuing receipts/invoices and closing the cash register Essential requirements: - Previous experience in the role of hotel receptionist - Good knowledge of Italian and English (other languages are a plus) - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Aptitude for contact with the public and customer orientation - Precision, reliability and organizational skills - Knowledge of the main hotel management software - Availability to work shifts, weekends and holidays Working conditions: - Place of work: Venice - Working hours: shifts to be defined - Type of contract: Fixed-term - Level: to be evaluated based on experience #joinusmestre The research is addressed to candidates of both sexes pursuant to Law 903/77 and Law 125/91, and to people of all ages and nationalities, pursuant to Legislative Decrees 215/03 and 216/03. Ability to carry out ordinary maintenance work within hotel structures, with particular reference to simple electrical maintenance and the management and arrangement of the boiler. Good manual skills, basic use of work tools and knowledge of the main safety regulations are required. It is also important to be able to identify any faults or anomalies and report them promptly.
