Façade Designer

Façade Designer Full time - Permanent Hybrid working Ideally, we are looking for a candidate based in the North London area; however, please note that you may be managing projects on a national level including Midlands. Founded over 20 years, Lawtech have become a leading principal contractor specialising in cladding remediation. We deliver high-quality, compliant, multi-million-pound cladding repatriations & regeneration contracts throughout London and the wider Southeast. Overall purpose of the role: The purpose of the Façade Designer role is to support the Design Manager and Senior Design Team in the design and delivery of remediation and new-build projects. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and develop detailed façade designs, drawings, and specifications. * Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility, constructability, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. * Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information and assess existing conditions. * Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and material samples. * Manage and coordinate design changes and revisions throughout the project lifecycle. * Provide technical support and guidance to project teams during construction. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Skills & Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field. * Proven experience in façade design, including knowledge of materials, systems, and construction methods. * Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar. * Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards. * Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
