Fab Ops Learning & Development Senior Engineer, FAB, IME

Job Description Responsible for developing, delivering, and sustaining structured training programs for fab operations, with a strong focus on Operations Technician (Ops TM) competency. This role ensures effective onboarding, standardized knowledge transfer, and continuous capability development to support fab performance, safety, and scalability. Key Roles & Responsibilities Training Program Development & SOP Standardization Develop and standardize SOPs for Ops TM training, ensuring alignment with fab operations requirements and industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs that meet the needs of Operations Technicians (Ops TMs). Ensure all training programs are aligned with fab operations goals, objectives, and performance metrics. Develop and maintain a library of SOPs for Ops TM training, ensuring consistency and standardization across fab operations. Provide technical guidance and support to ensure effective implementation of SOPs. Conduct regular reviews and updates of SOPs to ensure they remain relevant and effective. Training Program Delivery & Evaluation Deliver structured training programs to Operations Technicians (Ops TMs) in a timely and efficient manner. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed. Develop and maintain metrics to measure training program effectiveness, including knowledge transfer, skill development, and performance improvement. Collaborate with fab operations teams to identify training needs and develop targeted training programs. Provide coaching and mentoring to Operations Technicians (Ops TMs) to enhance their skills and capabilities. Continuous Capability Development & Improvement Identify opportunities for continuous learning and professional development for Operations Technicians (Ops TMs). Develop and deliver training programs that address emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in fab operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize training needs. Provide technical guidance and support to ensure effective implementation of training programs. Ensure all training programs are aligned with fab operations goals, objectives, and performance metrics. Key Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience in fab operations, training development, or a related field. Strong understanding of fab operations processes, procedures, and best practices. Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with training program development, delivery, and evaluation. Familiarity with SOPs and standardization processes. Certification in a relevant field (e.g., Six Sigma) is desirable.
