We are looking for an expert for the automation and technical optimization of an F5 infrastructure within a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) DMZ environment.

Your Tasks
•Building the automation of the F5 infrastructure using technologies like Ansible
•Technical optimization of iRules, ASM Policies, Bot Profiles, and static routes
•Optimization of performance, permissions, runtime behavior, and device groups within the infrastructure
•Conducting monitoring and analysis of qkview Files
•Conceptual planning and implementation of services via a ServiceNow interface
•Harmonization of Web Application Firewall (WAF) Profiles and creation of the corresponding documentation
•Expansion of existing automation to delete LTM instances and iRules
•Performance optimization of existing Ansible Playbooks to significantly reduce runtime
•Conducting exports and imports of Dos- and Bot-Profiles

Mandatory Requirements
•General network knowledge in the area of routing, firewalling, and load balancing
•In-depth experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM and ASM
•Safe handling of automation tools like Ansible and Terraform
•Knowledge of the F5 Ansible Module and other F5 APIs and automation interfaces
•Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD)
•Knowledge in a development environment like Visual Studio Code and a source code management system like Git/GitLab
•Experience in automation in the Google Cloud Platform, particularly Load Balancing, Cloud Armor, and Compute

Desirable Requirements
•Knowledge in the conception of service implementations via interfaces to ServiceNow
•Experience in harmonizing WAF Profiles and the corresponding documentation
•Completed specialized university degree (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent qualification
•Several years of relevant professional experience in the IT infrastructure field
