RPO Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced Extrusion Line Operator/Setter to join our client’s dynamic team in Johannesburg. Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and adjust extrusion line equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain production targets.
• Set up and calibrate machines according to production specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure product compliance with standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is advantageous.
• Proven experience as an Extrusion Line Operator/Setter in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of extrusion processes, materials, and machinery.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
