External Sales Representative

A leading industrial solutions provider is seeking a driven and experienced External Sales Representative to join their team in Montague Gardens, Western Cape. This is an exciting opportunity for a target-oriented individual with a strong technical background and a passion for building customer relationships in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients in the industrial and manufacturing sectors
• Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and propose relevant product and service solutions
• Prepare and deliver accurate sales quotes, product demonstrations, and technical support
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and after-sales service
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and market trends
• Represent the company professionally at client meetings and industry events

• Matric certificate or equivalent (a technical qualification is advantageous)
• Minimum 2–3 years of proven external sales experience in a B2B or industrial environment
• Technical understanding of mechanical/electrical systems or materials handling equipment (advantageous)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and solution-driven mindset
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
