External Data Specialist

You will make an impact by:

* Providing expert support to clinical operations teams, ensuring accurate and timely data capture and reconciliation from external data sources. * Developing and implementing processes for the ingestion, validation, and integration of external data into the elluminate platform. * Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., Data Management, Biostatistics, Clinical Operations) to understand data requirements and ensure successful data integration. * Performing data quality checks and identifying discrepancies or anomalies in external data, working towards resolution. * Assisting in the creation and maintenance of data management plans, specifications, and other relevant documentation. * Supporting the execution of data review and reconciliation activities for external data. * Participating in the testing and validation of new features and functionalities related to external data integration within the elluminate platform. * Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and best practices for managing external data. * Staying current with industry trends and technologies related to clinical data management and external data sources. We are looking for someone who brings: * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, computer science, statistics) or equivalent practical experience. * 2+ years of experience in clinical data management or a related role within the life sciences industry. * Familiarity with clinical trial processes and data standards (e.g., CDISC). * Understanding of various external data sources commonly used in clinical trials (e.g., ePRO, wearables, central labs, imaging). * Basic knowledge of data management principles and data quality concepts. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Bonus Points: * Experience with eClinical Solutions' elluminate platform. * Working knowledge of SQL or other database query languages. * Experience with data visualization tools. * Understanding of regulatory requirements in clinical research (e.g., GCP, GxP).
