Export Area Manager ? Specialized Electrical Cables and Materials_Sectors: industrial / safety / rail / dealers

LHH LHH Recruitment Solutions offers the opportunity to join a historic production reality in the specialized cable and electrical material sector, with the role of Export Area Manager. The candidate, working in synergy with the commercial team and reporting to the Commercial Director, will be responsible for managing an existing customer portfolio and identifying new commercial development opportunities on the European area. Responsibilities The resource will perform the following activities independently: ? Market research and analysis related to the business, competition, potential customers to acquire, in order to establish a solid commercial relationship; ? Consolidate the relationship with existing clients, in terms of up- and cross-selling, relative to the Group's product range; ? Report effectively and constructively to one or more of the following sales channels: Industrial & Automation - Safety & Firefighting - Rail & Metro ? Electrical material distributors; ? Propose products and solutions related to electrical components and special cables, managing the economic negotiation, in a custom-oriented approach; ? Operate in a Group context with other company departments, particularly with the backoffice and technical office. Your Profile The ideal profile has the following characteristics: ? Degree title, preferably in a technical field; ? Previous experience in selling technical electrical materials on foreign markets to at least one of the three sales channels indicated above (career path, including assigned zones, is structured accordingly); ? Excellent knowledge of the English language, with knowledge of other languages being a plus; ? Ability to manage their own work autonomously, with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach; ? Availability for international travel to clients and sector fairs up to 50% of the time.
