Snowflake Big Data Expert

From Workana, we are supporting the search for a Snowflake Big Data Expert to join a technology company with regional operations and a focus on advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Education in Systems, Computer Science, Data or related fields.
• Between 2 and 5 years of professional experience.
• At least 2 years as a Data Engineer.
• Proven experience in Snowflake (modeling, performance, and security).
• Experience in GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow/Dataproc).
• Advanced SQL and programming in Python.
• Knowledge of modern data architectures (Lakehouse, ELT).
• Experience with financial, transactional, or risk-related data (desirable).

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines in GCP.
• Model, build, and optimize Data Marts and curated layers in Snowflake.
• Implement processes for data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration (ELT/ETL).
• Ensure quality, governance, security, and traceability of the information.
• Optimize costs and performance in Snowflake (clustering, warehouses, consumption).
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Document models, flows, and best practices.
• Participate in architecture and technical standards definitions.
