Shape Your Future - with Your Skills
* Development, optimization, and operation of analytical data models, data products, and queries (focus on SQL or Spark)
* Modeling, transformation, and documentation of data models using dbt as a framework
* Building and further development of reporting and analytics solutions with Power BI (data products, semantic models, performance optimization)
* Integration, transformation, and quality assurance of data from various source systems
* Implementation of data pipelines along defined data architectures and data lineage specifications
* Close cooperation with departments to translate professional requirements into robust technical data models
* Conducting ad-hoc analyses as well as technical support for existing reports and dashboards
* Participation in the further development of our data platforms, modeling, and reporting standards
Excite Us - with Your Qualities
* Completed technical education (HTL, study, ...) (Economics-)Informatics, Data Engineering, Data Science or comparable qualification
* Several years of practical experience with SQL, ideally in the Microsoft or Exasol environment
* Good knowledge of Power BI (data modeling, DAX, performance tuning)
* First-hand practical experience with dbt (SQL-based transformations, tests, documentation)
* Experience with Microsoft-based data architecture (e.g. MS-SQL, MS-Fabric or Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory or comparable)
* Understanding of data models, data flows, data lineage, and technical reporting architectures
* Structured, solution-oriented working style as well as high data and quality affinity
* Ability to clearly and addressably communicate technical matters
* Teamwork, self-responsibility, and implementation strength
* Very good German and good English skills
