For a renowned customer in the commercial vehicle industry, we are looking for reinforcement at the Nuremberg location as soon as possible. Your tasks:
Self-contained assertion and negotiation of warranty claims against suppliers
Examination and processing of warranty claims in special recourse
Coordination of liability claims and claim amounts with relevant departments
Presentation and dispatch of claim letters to suppliers, examination and coordination of responses
Independent conduct of negotiations, including leniency negotiations, with suppliers
Agreement and handling of cost regulations ( lump sum or quarterly)
Negotiation with third parties, such as participating insurance companies
Support for colleagues in the recourse area regarding legal questions, e.g. contract law
Participation in contractual agreements on quality issues with suppliers
Cross-sectional cooperation with procurement, error analysis, technology, law, and after-sales
Your profile:
Completed studies in the field of economic law (Bachelor of Laws, LL.B.) or related fields of law
At least 2 years of professional experience in recourse management, ideally in the automotive industry
Very good negotiation skills, assertiveness, and developed communication and perseverance abilities
Negotiation-safe German and English language skills in writing and speaking
Fundamental knowledge of warranty law, GTCs, and contract design
Interest in quality-related, technical, commercial, and legal issues
Technical understanding, ideally knowledge in the area of trucks, buses, battery-powered vehicles, and internal combustion engines
Able to quickly grasp complex situations and solve them goal-oriented
Independent, self-responsible, and structured working style
Cultural competence and willingness for occasional business trips
