Expert for IT - Security and Network Administration (m/w/d)

Aufgaben

• You take over the administration, monitoring, and further development of firewall systems for our customers (m/w/d) and implement secure network infrastructures.
• You check, optimize, and harden IT environments with a focus on IT security.
• You develop and operate secure and highly available network concepts for medium-sized companies and municipal institutions.
• You advise our customers (m/w/d) comprehensively on IT security topics, develop security strategies, and bring your expertise into customer projects.
• You support in case of disturbances, security incidents, and 2nd- / 3rd-Level-Support, remote or on-site.

Qualifikation

• You have a completed IT education, e.g. as a computer scientist (m/w/d) for system integration or a comparable qualification.
• You have practical experience in setting up and operating modern networks including routing, switching, VLANs, and network segmentation.
• You have deeper experience with firewall and network technologies, e.g. Fortinet, Sophos, HPE Aruba, or Ubiquiti – ideally with manufacturer training or certifications.
• You have experience in user and system support and are characterized by high service orientation and self-initiative.
• You possess fundamental knowledge of IT security solutions, e.g. Next-Gen Endpoint Protection, Firewalls, and Monitoring Tools.
• You bring very good knowledge of common network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN/IPsec, etc.).
