About the Activity

Authority is building an expert network to understand and predict key developments in the global data center industry.

We are looking for an experienced professional who is currently active in the data center market in Germany and possesses up-to-date knowledge of local market conditions.

You will provide practical market intelligence on supply and demand, power availability, project pipelines, construction activity, investments, regulation, pricing, and operator strategies in Germany.

Your insights will help us improve datasets and forecast models intended to predict commercial events and outcomes in the global data center market.

Your Contribution

• Participation in short monthly research calls
• Reviewing market data for gaps and errors
• Contextualizing significant shifts in the local market
• Assessing the likelihood and timing of new projects
• Providing information on projects, operators, investors, and key customers
• Reviewing forecasts and explaining relevant local signals

• Data center development and investment
• Colocation and hyperscale operations
• Site selection and land acquisition
• Power procurement and grid connections
• Construction, engineering, and project delivery
• Capacity, leasing, vacancy, and pricing
• Planning, permitting, and environmental regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Currently active or closely involved in the data center market in Germany
• In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of local market conditions
• Direct experience with commercial or strategic decision-making
• A valid LinkedIn profile showcasing relevant professional experience

Collaboration Details

• Independent contractor role
• Remote in Germany
• Approximately 2 to 4 paid consulting hours per month

This is not a full-time position, but rather a flexible and paid expert advisory role.
