Expert Tester

Ali Professional - Search & Selection is seeking an Expert Tester for a key role with an important Brescia-based manufacturer of machinery for the industry. The challenge: In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the perfect functionality and conformity of machines through meticulous start-up and final testing phases, in line with production plans and technical documentation. Your expertise will directly contribute to the quality of our products and customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities:

• Evaluate with precision the start-up and final testing phases of machines, strictly adhering to the production plan and provided technical documentation.
• Prepare detailed reports on the hours dedicated to start-up and final testing for each specific order.
• Accurately document any issues encountered, related to non-conformities in assembly, internal cabling or defects in supply.
• Analyze thoroughly, manage and resolve independently diagnostic problems, ensuring rapid resumption of operations.
• Actively collaborate with Quality and Development teams to address and resolve complex problem-solving issues that require specialized skills.
• Promote actively ideas and solutions for continuous improvement of start-up and final testing processes defined in technical documentation.

  We are looking for:

  • Proven experience in diagnosing machine malfunctions and resolving complex problems (problem solving).
  • Solid knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Good understanding of PLC programming.
  • Good practical experience in wiring machines.
  • Excellent ability to interpret electrical and pneumatic diagrams.
  • Basic skills in reading mechanical designs.
  • Basic skills in consulting machine manuals and structural drawings.
  • Meticulous, precise, and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Good manual dexterity and precision in performing practical tasks.
  • Good mastery of measurement tools (caliper, comparator, tester).
  • Good communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.

    A plus would be:

    • Prior experience in installing industrial machinery.
    • Prior experience in practical use of industrial machinery.
