Degree in a technical or scientific discipline, preferably with a specialization in extractive metallurgy, chemistry, materials science, or a related field. Hands-on experience in research and development, particularly in the non-ferrous metal recycling industry or a related area. Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of non-ferrous metal recycling processes, including the latest technologies and industrial methods. Awareness of current trends and innovations in non-ferrous metal recycling and their potential impact on the industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instruments, including spectrophotometers, atomic absorption spectroscopy, X-ray fluorescence, and other analytical techniques. Experience with data analysis software, such as Excel, R, or Python. Knowledge of statistical methods and data visualization tools. Ability to work in a multicultural environment and communicate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
