Expert External Development Artist - Environment

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Expert External Development Artist with a focus on Environments to join our studio to work on Project Sirius - an ambitious and exciting new project set in The Witcher universe.

In this foundational role, you will play a crucial part in developing a world-class pipeline, facilitating seamless collaboration between external vendors and internal teams. You will also be responsible for reviewing work quality and expanding your team.

Responsibilities:

• Planning a robust External Development pipeline from the ground up - workflows, software solutions, etc.
• Working with Directors, Leads, and Producers to create an outsource strategy..
• Collaborate with our procurement staff in finding and vetting outsource partners.
• Training of vendors in our workflows and performance standards.
• Providing artistic and technical feedback to external partners via documentation and direct communication.
• Integrating approved assets into the game engine as necessary.
• Modeling and texturing assets which fit the established style of the game.
• Setting up materials and shaders to achieve the best possible quality.
• Reviewing and/or creating briefs from internal teams to ensure they meet the needs of vendors.
• Cooperating effectively with other artists and designers and ensuring good practices within internal and external teams.
• Providing the team with clear and transparent progress status regarding the ongoing work.
